LOL at the title. These three weeks kinda crazy weeks for me and Kimchi (and most of Korean’s fangirls and fanboys out there i believe) since a lot of groups making their comeback during these few weeks and coming weeks to come. And yes, in this fandom…there will be stage when you willing to spent your money to buy those expensive first press limited edition or special edition of your favorite group’s/singer’s album. LOL.
And since I’ve spent a lot of time ‘studying’ on online shopping, and found a lot of new info as well; let me share (to my limited knowledge) on what you need to know before do online shopping. Bear in mind what I’m writing is based on music album purchases; thus for other types of shopping like computer stuff might be a total different case.

1. Currency Exchange Rates
If you buying from international site, first you need to bookmark this GOOGLE FINANCE – Currency Converter page. Using this, you can easily check on the price; and perhaps comparing prices from different sites that using different currency.
Please also noted that the currency exchange rate differs everyday. So the rates or the price will never be fixed (lol). If you’re buying on good day (where your country currency has higher selling price…well, i don’t really understand this either), you’ll might save few ringgits compare to buying on ‘bad currency exchange rate day’.
As for estimation, lets remember this:
USD $ 1 = RM 3.20 – RM 3.30
USD $ 12 = RM 39.60 [usual single or mini album price]
USD $ 32 = RM 105.50 [usual full album/special edition price]
850 Yen = RM 30.85 [usual single or mini album price at cheaper site]
1000 Yen = RM 36.30 [usual single or mini album price (CD only) at CDJapan]
1800 Yen = RM 65.40 [usual single price for CD+DVD jacket/edition]
4000 Yen = RM 145 [DVD, special collection album usually start with this price]
12000 won = USD $9.60 = RM 33.60 [price for normal album sell in Korea*]
25000 won = USD $20 = RM70 [price for special album selling in Korea*]
*This actually price of SS501′s Destination album if you’re buying in Korea, buying from international site will be more expensive
