Memula aku explore video-video kat VideoManiac.net, pertandingan menengok & membagi komen pada video-video kat sana. Bila tengok video-video kat sana, buat aku cari balik video satu ni kat YouTube. Video ni aku jumpa bulan lepas kot. Memang tabik spring la dengan dia. Nak tau video yang aku maksudkan, enjoy this:
Mungkin ada yang dah pernah tengok ni. Aku mula-mula tengok terkejut juga. Bukan senang kan nak ada kekuatan macam dia.
Fikir balik, mampu ke kita bertahan dalam keadaan satu dunia menentang kita? Hope this can inspire us

wow!
he regained his voice and perform on stage for the very first time in 11 years…
and it’s not just a voice, it’s a wonderful voice!
but, i THINK…
be careful with christian spiritual meaning of the song…
i forgot to comment on this inpirational post.
anyway, sis, you did a great decision on posting this video here.
you raise me up is my fav song of all time and when I first saw this, I was hoping ‘don’t he ever ruin my fav song’.
At last, I almost shed tears by watching him standing on his own with the crowded criticizing and against him.
Say that I’m irrational – I am.
I almost cry, I’m so touched.
Regarding to what PJ Selamba said, I think we should just ignore the spiritual meaning and look at the right perspective of the song, this is a wonderful song.
I’m amazed by his inner strength, yes, I guess the audiences realized it too. Congrats!
hehe… i respect his stand on be careful of western songs… but also do believe that this song won’t change our ‘aqidah’ since the lyrics did not contains any words or hidden meaning (in my observation) which would mislead our ‘aqidah’…for me, i always think that ‘you’ in this song refers to people like our parents, so insyaAllah there nothing to worry there.
however, i copy paste the lyric just for reference:
When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.
There is no life – no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.
You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up… To more than I can be.
You raise me up… To more than I can be.
